Dr. Craig McLaws founded The Foot Care Center in 1987 in Sheridan, WY.

He is President and CEO of The Foot Care Center. Dr. McLaws sees patients in Billings on Mondays, Thursdays, and in Sheridan on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Dr. McLaws was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona as part of a construction family. His undergraduate education was at Arizona State University in bio-medical physics. He attended and graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, CA where he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He returned to Scottsdale, AZ for extensive training in podiatric surgery. His best friend in medical school was from Wyoming and often told him hunting and fishing stories (lies mostly). It perked his interest and during his senior year Dr. McLaws fulfilled a 1 month hospital rotation in Missoula, Montana. That month changed the course of his life and after surgical training he moved north to open The Foot Care Center and was the only podiatrist in the north half of Wyoming. The practice expanded with multiple clinics and physicians and in 2003, he moved to Billings and started the Billings, MT office. Craig is married and loves Wyoming and Montana. They have five children and eight grandchildren – with one on the way! He has run 5 marathons and enjoys time with his family. His grandkids all call him “Granddaddy”.

After completing his doctorate in 2011, he attended and completed a 3 year surgical residency at the Carl T. Hayden Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. While in residency he completed extensive surgical training in forefoot/rearfoot surgery, diabetic limb salvage, total ankle replacement, and trauma. We are proud of the work he has done for our veterans during his residencyJason is married with three children. True Experts of Foot Care

Although your primary care physician may be able to diagnose and treat a problem with your foot, ankle, or lower leg, it is often wise to speak with a skilled podiatrist about your issues. Many podiatric health conditions have similar symptoms as other conditions and can be easily misdiagnosed.

At our practice, our focus is podiatry. Our training and experience is concentrated on understanding the workings of feet, ankles, and lower legs, allowing us to better understand the intricate workings of this part of the body. With our expertise, we are able to diagnose and treat injuries, diseases, and other conditions of your feet, ankles, and lower legs better than a general healthcare practitioner.

Personalized Patient Care and Treatment

Many of our patients suffer from similar foot and ankle conditions; however, we treat each case uniquely. By understanding not only your podiatric disease, deformity, or other medical condition, but also your specific lifestyle needs, we can better create a course of treatment or recommend footwear that will help relieve your issues.

The complexity of the workings of your feet and ankles makes this a part of your body that may need significant attention, so we don’t rush you through treatment. At our office, we take the time to provide you with comprehensive foot care education and give you the treatment that you need and deserve.

Education and Preventative Care

At our podiatry practice, we believe that the more information you have about proper foot care, the better your overall podiatric health will be. That is why we not only treat existing medical conditions, but also provide you with guidelines to minimize your chances of future foot or ankle injuries and ailments.

Based on your specific needs, our podiatrist will provide you with foot care tips and recommendations. Also, we have filled this website with podiatry information to help educate you on how you can properly take care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs.

Positive Experience

When dealing with foot pain and discomfort, you most likely are not thinking of the situation as positive. However, when you visit our podiatry practice we will do our best to make this difficult situation better.

We will not only focus on finding and treating the source of your pain, but also provide you with a comfortable environment during the process. Our friendly and professional staff is here to ensure that your overall experience at our office is a positive one.
