Dr. David Archibald – Associate
Dr. David Archibald is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He specializes in both surgical and conservative management of the lower extremity. He is skilled in multiple types of surgery including trauma (such as fractures, tendon and ligament ruptures, etc.), arthroscopic surgery, charcot reconstruction, flatfoot reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage and joint replacements. He is also an expert in sports medicine, bunion deformity correction, hammertoe repair and other deformities of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Archibald uses cutting edge medical techniques including the implementation of platelet rich plasma (PRP), stem cell therapy using bone marrow aspiration and amniotic grafts. This is done to expedite healing in his patients.
He joined The Foot Care Center after the completion of his residency training in Alabama, where he received training from three different hospital systems. During his final year in residency, he served as Chief Resident. Throughout his postgraduate education, he received comprehensive training in orthopedic surgery, vascular surgery, general surgery, emergency medicine, internal medicine and infectious disease.
Dr. Archibald received his medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, ID. He has always enjoyed serving his community. Prior to becoming a doctor, he was a volunteer firefighter.
In his spare time, Dr. Archibald enjoys fixing cars with his sons, as well gardening and raising chickens with his little girl. He is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors with his beautiful wife and their three children.
